APC Campaign Manager Call For The Arrest Of Femi Fani-Kayode

APC members  has called for the law enforcement agents to arrest Chief Femi Fani-Kayode for giving force rumor saying that PDP had won in 23 states even when INEC had not announced any results. The group at a press conference in Abuja yesterday March 30th said Fani-Kayode through his action breached the electoral law

"We strongly condemn in its entirety, the recent outburst and blatant misinformation of the general public by Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode that the PDP is already leading in 23 states of the federation. This claim is a total breach of the electoral act and is designed to cause the breach of peace. Gen. Mohammadu Buhari had repeatedly emphasised to his supporters to maintain calmness in that face of provocation by the ruling party. 

This recent utter exhibition of lawlessness enmeshed in the typical character of impunity by PDP is unacceptable. We ask the security agencies to immediately effect the arrest of Mr. Fani-Kayode for breaching relevant sections of the electoral act which forbids any organ outside INEC from officially declaring election results. 

His arrest for further questioning will be a clear indication that the security agencies are truly unbiased participants in this electoral process as this declaration is also a breach of both the 1st and 2nd Abuja Peace Accord. 

We call on the international community and observers to note the steps being taken by PDP to cause severe breach of peace and call them to order. EFCC Denies The Rumor Of Freezing The Acounts Of Father Mbaka's---

News reaching us that The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has denied reports that they have  froze all the accounts of Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka. 

After the media reports yesterday that Fr Mbaka had claimed during his sermon on Wednesday March 25th that the EFCC had frozen his bank accounts and that he was invited to their Port Harcourt office for questioning. 

He supposedly said he went to the bank on Tuesday March 24th to cash some money to buy foodstuff for the poor who had just returned to Enugu from the North and the cheque he presented was rejected.

EFCC Spokesperson Wilson Uwujaren released a statement late yesterday denying that the agency froze his account. See the statement after the cut..

Breaking,Boko Haram has again k!!dnapped 506 women and children from Damasak, one of the town in Borno state Nigeria, this is according to Reuters

The news agency quoted a resident who witnessed the abduction as saying that more than 50 were killed as the sect raided the northern Nigerian town.

“They took 506 young women and children. They killed about 50 of them before leaving,” Souleymane Ali, a trader in Damasak said.

“We don’t know if they killed others after leaving, but they took the rest with them.”

Toumba Mohamed, a lieutenant colonel with the Nigerien army, involved in the Damasak incursion of Niger-Chad forces, said residents had reported between 400 and 500 women and children kidnapped.

Last week, Niger-Chad forces recovered the town from Boko Haram, who had been in control of the town since November 2014.

Nigerien and Chadian troops, who also discovered a mass grave of Boko Haram victims just outside the town, also said Nigerian soldiers had refused to register presence in the town since its recovery

Jega---We Are Ready For Next Week's General Elections ----

Prof Attahiru Jega the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, says the electoral body are ready to conduct the general elections which starts next week Saturday March 28th. 

At a meeting with some Civil Society bodies in Abuja today, Prof Jega said the time provided by the postponement has helped the commission articulate its plan for the conduct of a successful election.

"We believe very strongly that the period of the extension has been put to good use and it has added value and obviously we would be able to do a much better election and it also enforced our belief that the elections for 2015 will be remarkably better than the 2011 elections and in fact we believe it will be the best election in Nigeria's history" he said.

He however raised concerns over the security of INEC staffs and NYSC members who would be working during the election days

"Clearly security remains an issue of concern particularly securing the staff of INEC as they are being deployed or as they are conducting the elections and also protecting the election environment" he said
