PDP Cooked Up To Impeach Governor Nyako--SEE DETAILS


Are thes peopel really fighting for the citizen or they fighting to enrich them self the PDP members of Adamawa State house of assembly have levelled 26 allegations of “gross misconduct” on the governor of the state, Murtala Nyako and his deputy Bala Ngilari. If they succeed in impeaching Nyako and his Deputy, the PDP automatically takes over the state as the Speaker will emerge Governor.

The speaker of the assembly, Ahmadu Fintiri, had on Wednesday directed the Clerk of the house to serve the governor and his deputy with impeachment notice. Twenty allegations were levelled against Nyako and six against Ngilari. Some of the allegations against Nyako included diversion of N2.3 billion workers’ salary for September and October 2011, and illegal deductions and diversion of N142million emoluments of workers in May 2014.

    The governor was also alleged to have squandered N4.8 billion and N7.1 billion in 2012 and 2013 respectively, through the office of the secretary to the government against budgetary approvals...


According to The Cable, the legislators also accused the deputy governor of diverting N50 million released to him by the ministry of finance to acquire licence for the exploration of solid minerals in 2008. They also accused Bala of misleading Nyako to invest in mineral exploration that turned out to be a white elephant project.

In a bid to achieve their selfish agenda with the support of the Presidency from Abuja, they also claimed that the deputy governor was involved in extra-budgetary expenditure to the tune of N397 million as overhead cost in 2013.
