Breaking--Nigerians have been advised to be calm and not panic over the reported case of Ebola Virus in Lagos State, with an assurance that no Nigerian is infected with the virus.

Boko Haram Bombs Bridge In Yobe & Killed 8 Persons
Boko Haram sect on July 28th launched an attack in Katarko town in Yobe State. Katarko is 22km South of Damaturu, the state capital and is said to be very near the dreaded Sambisa forest and 8 people were killed and a major bridge destroyed.
According to reports, the sect members arrived the village around 7.30pm in motorbikes and operated unhindered till 2.00am. The men had unsuccessful attacked a military base in the town before moving into a residential area.

The Nigerian military on Friday said it that they arrested a suspected bomber who disguised himself as a woman in kadona.
A statement by the Defence Headquarters said the man who was dressed like woman was suspected to be connected with the explosion targeted at the convoy of a former military head of state, Mohammed Buhari, in Kaduna.
The attack occurred near the busy Kawo market in Kaduna, killing 15 people, the police said.

TOO Bad Algerian Plane With 116 On Board Has Disappears From Radar
What is this time? Another air craft has gone missing . This is beginning to get scary. An Air Algerie flight flying from Burkina Faso to Algeria with 116 people on board has dropped off radar.
Swift Air, the operators of the aircraft, say they lost contact with the flight 50 minutes after it took off this morning from Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. It was supposed to have arrived at Algiers' Houari Boumediene Airport about four hours later but the plane has just disappeared.
"We have lost contact with the plane. At this moment, emergency services and our staff are working on finding out more on this situation." Swiftair said.
The plane, an MD-83, has 110 passengers on-board with 2 pilots and four crew members. Air Algerie is Algeria's national airline. Update: The plane crashed in Niger...continue for details...

Explosion Reported Rock Enugu, A Year-old Baby Feared Dead, Several Injured---
Shocking news in Enugu -A year-old baby was feared dead, several others wounded following an explosion which reportedly occurred at Eke Ozi market in Enugu State, on Friday.
A daily newspaper reports the incident which occurred at about 2:00p.m few meters to a divisional police headquarters, was suspected to be a bomb blast and it made market women and traders run for safety.

An America plane carrying 6 American soldiers today July 18th crash landed on a highway outside Uganda's capital Kampala after running out of fuel. It had to make a quick safe landing to avoid any disaster.
Reports say the plane which took off from the Entebbe airport in Uganda was heading to neighboring South Sudan when their aircraft was forced to turn back due to bad weather and then land on a highway after running out of fuel approximately 40 miles from the airport. Fortunately no on was injured.

Meet the family that missed Flight17 by minutes+chilling audio from rebels after they shot down plane
Meet Barry and Izzy Sim (pictured above) who were planning to travel to Kuala Lumpur with their young baby on Flight MH17 but were told by staff at Amsterdam's Schiphol airport that the plane was too full. The family was then given seats on a later KLM flight, just hours before the plane was shot down.
"You get this sick feeling in the pit of your stomach... We started getting butterflies. Your heartbeat starts going.' Barry Sim said of his reaction after he heard the plane he desperately wanted to board was shot down.
His wife said; 'There must have been someone watching over us and saying "you must not get on that flight".' The couple later cancelled their flight with KLM after the women refused to fly.
Meanwhile U.S intelligence has confirmed that the plane was shot down by pro-Russian separatists who mistook the jetliner for a Ukraine military plane. And it is a Russian-made weapon.

Three persons have been killed while one person was serious wounded during clashes between Gwandara and Eggon youths who were protesting over the commencement of impeachment proceedings against Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura of Nasarawa State on Thursday.
Leadership gathered that some armed Gwandara youths stormed the house of an Eggon man around Old Alamis Market and set it ablaze along with his car. Many governorship posters of information minister Labaran Maku were said to have been pasted on the walls of the house.
The state police public relations officer, Ismaila Numan, confirmed the development, saying the house was burnt in the early hours of the day but he could not confirm who was responsible.

FIFA Has Lifts His Ban On Nigeria
FIFA has lifted the ban he placed on Nigeria on July 9th after a high court sitting in Jos sacked the President of the Nigerian Football Federation, NFF, Aminu Maigari and other board members.
FIFA had frowned at the court ruling, stating that the move was a government interference in football activities which is against its policy. FIFA then directed that a new court order reinstating Maigari and other NFF executives be obtained before it can lift the ban.
The new court order reinstating the NFF President and other executives was obtained two days ago, Tuesday July 15th, hence the lifting of the ban today.
Maigari and his board will resume their duties tomorrow and stay there until next month's elections when they could be sacked through the ballot, in line with FIFA's policies.
